The sacraments of First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation are facilitated through St. Luke's Primary School for Primary School Students.
The Catechists group facilitate the catholic education of children not attending St Luke's school and for children wanting to prepare for Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation.

- Baptism

"Holy Baptism is the basis of the whole Christian life, the gateway to life in the Spirit, and the door which gives access to the other sacraments. Through baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as sons of God; we become members of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission."
(Catechism of the Catholic Church n. 1213)
Baptisms are celebrated on the second and fourth Sundays of the month after the 10:00am Mass, at 11.15am. Please download, complete and forward the application form (see tab below) to the Parish Office. Please note: minimum 3 weeks notice.
The Baptism Preparation Meeting is held monthly at the church at 6.00pm on the Wednesday before the 1st Sunday Welcoming Mass. The meaning of baptism is discussed and the symbols used are explained. Parents and godparents are expected to attend.
The Welcoming Mass takes place on the First Sunday of the month at the 10.00 am Mass, at which the child is introduced to the parish/church community and receives the first Baptismal anointing with the Oil of Catechumens as a sign of strengthening for the journey of faith. The family is now formally prepared for their Baptism ceremony.
